About Great House Livery

Great House Livery was established in 2007 by David Banwell and his wife. The yard is located in the stunning Severn Vale on a 300-acre working farm in the small and picturesque hamlet of Hasfield. With first-class equestrian facilities and excellent local hacking, we provide the perfect setting to nurture your relationship with your horse. Local Livery Yard

Ideally located within easy reach of Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and Ledbury, the M5 and M50, our local livery yard has everything the discerning equestrian enthusiast requires. Perfect your jumping in the flood-lit indoor school with our show jumps, brush up on your schooling in our outdoor riding arena or enjoy the glorious local countryside with excellent hacking routes easily accessed directly from our farm.

On-Site Yard Owners

David and his wife live on-site, as a result, the yard benefits from 24-hour security. They also have extensive knowledge of horse care, so if you need additional help, that can be arranged.

All Year Turnout

With approximately 20 acres of well-maintained grazing, we provide 24/7 all year turnout. In extreme weather conditions, we may request that your horse or pony is stabled to protect the fields.

Friendly Equestrian Yard

With ample space and outstanding equestrian facilities on site, our friendly equestrian yard has everything you need. All liveries are respectful of each other and have their own allocated storage areas. So, whether you are looking to bond friendships with other riders or prefer to enjoy the solitude of spending time alone with your horse, Great House Livery provides the perfect setting.
